Marc Von Arx

Marc is a private practice, entertainment talent attorney who is of counsel to the firm of Nelson Davis LLP in Santa Monica, California. 

For over 25 years, Marc has represented top tier acting, writing, producing and directing talent in the motion picture, television, gaming and new media industries.

Formerly, Marc was a long time business affairs executive in the Motion Picture Group at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles, California, where he represented a large array of motion picture and television talent, athletes and musical artists, as well as new technology leaders in video games, social networks and e-commerce.

Prior to joining CAA, Marc served previously as EVP and General Counsel for two new media companies: InnMedia, LLC, the leading provider of digital entertainment and media services to the hospitality industry, and WHN, a Los Angeles based business-to-business licensing industry exchange and provider of e-commerce solutions for over 60 major media brand holders including ABC, NBC, Universal, Fox Broadcasting, Paramount, Comedy Central, MTV, Playboy, TV Guide and the 2002 Winter Olympics. 

Prior to Nelson Davis, Marc also practiced entertainment law at the firms of Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, Rosenthal and LaViolette, LLP and Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson and Binder LLP.

Marc received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and his JD from the UCLA School of Law and also attended the American Film Institute as a directing fellow.

Marc lives in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles with his wife Debbie.  He is known to frequent soccer fields, tennis courts, revival cinemas, museums, comic book stores and Miami Dolphins games.
